Cold Sores

Cold Sores

If someone with cold sores around the mouth were to go down on their partner, would the partner develop the same type of sores in their genitals?

I've had cold sores on the corner of my mouth since I was a teenager, I've never had an experience where a girl would complain to me about contracting herpes from me performing oral sex on them. I don't think it can be transmitted in that way. well i'm not sure at least, could be wrong.

I have a recurring problem of cold sores, and have been told genital herpes can be contracted from receiving oral sex from someone with oral herpes- cold sores

So would it be herpes simplex I or II? I mean, as far as I know, Herpes simplex I is the cold sores around the mouth. and Herpes II is the one on the genitals. Does it like, automatically mutate if Person A (with oral sores) transmitted it to Person B through oral sex?

OMG! that is gross! If I ever saw a hot guy with a cold sore, I would totally stay away from him, I wouldn't even kiss him, let alone allow him to give me oral sex. That is a scary thought. I would automatically assume that if some one with a cold sore performed oral sex on me, that I would get it on my vagina. Just not sure what type of herpes it would be though. That would be good know if anyone has any idea.
